PayWeb360 v1.6

PayWeb360 v.1.6 is now available in production. The purpose of this release is to fix 2 issues (Onboarding, Linked Accounts) and enhance 2 features (Duplicate Payment Protection, Text Notification Call-to-Action).

Onboarding

Onboarding is an existing feature that enables organizations to provide disclosures and capture consent prior to granting users with first-time access to the site. The disclosures are broken up into 3 parts.

Before

Prior to this release, the 2nd and 3rd part of the disclosures were not acknowledged by NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) screen readers.

After

Now, as part of this release, the 2nd and 3rd part of the disclosures are acknowledged by NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) screen readers.

Linked Accounts

Linked Accounts is an existing feature that enables customers to view and pay all of their accounts within a single session.

Before

Prior to this release, the default payment amount, ordinarily the amount due, would not update to reflect the current account when clicking from one linked account to another.

After

Now, as part of this release, the default payment amount will be updated to reflect the current account when clicking from one linked account to another.

Duplicate Payment Protection

Duplicate Payment Protection is an existing feature that provides protection against duplicate payments.

Before

Prior to this release, if a user clicked the Pay button multiple times when accessing the site from an extremely slow computing device it was possible to evade our Duplicate Payment Protection.

After

Now, as part of this release, if a user clicks the Pay button multiple times when accessing the site on an extremely slow computing device they will not be able to evade our Duplicate Payment Protection.

Text Notification Call-to-Action

Text Messaging Call-to-Action is a visual cue intended to bring attention to the text notification subscription option.

Before

Prior to this release, a customer who had not subscribed to text notifications would be presented with a red dot above the user profile icon.

After

Now, as part of this release, a customer who has not subscribed to text notifications will be presented with a banner above the Make Payment page, in addition to a red dot above the user profile icon.
