At PaymentVision, we know how to make transactions fly. Through the BFrame system, using the new integrated electronic payments option, enable your collectors to be more
productive by allowing them to perform data entry one time only with options for one time payments for cards and electronic checks, and scheduled payment plans.
First, we’ll see how easy it is to process a real-time credit card payment in the BFrame system with no duplicate entry required.
To make a payment, first select an account and the navigate to the payment arrangement screen from within the menu.
There are several payment arrangement types that may be selected. In this case, we’ll select type 7 for real-time credit card payment.
BFrame provides a calculator that can be used to construct the payment plan based on a
percentage of the balance. If you do not want to use it, you can go directly to credit card
information.
Enter the credit card number, expiration date (using the dropdown), card verification number, and payment amount. In this case, we’ll submit a payment in the amount of $50.
Within seconds, PaymentVision returns an authorization response. In this case, our payment has been approved. You’ll notice that $8 has been added to the payment amount. This is a convenience fee that the client has opted to charge for this particular payment arrangement type, as shown in the ledger below.
Now, we’ll go to a different account to show a scheduled arrangement. Once again, go to payment arrangement from within the menu. Next, select payment arrangement type 10, for scheduled credit card payment. Next, enter credit card information (again, to enter an
expiration date, you can either key it in, or use the dropdown), create a payment schedule, enter an amount, a frequency, the date that the first payment is due, and the number of
payments. We’re now ready to save our payment plan.
Within seconds, PaymentVision has issued a token, which is like a substitute for the original card number. Payments can be processed against the token, without the liability of storing credit card information. By not storing card data in your business environment, your PCI-DSS certification requirements would be significantly reduced.
